As Neurodiversity Celebration Week comes to an end, we want to extend a big thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating, learning, and advocating for a world that values neurodiversity.
Here’s a look back at how we celebrated throughout the week.
Insightful Guest Blogs
We were proud to share a series of guest blogs highlighting the experiences and insights of neurodivergent individuals. Each story offered a unique perspective, demonstrating the importance of understanding and inclusion. These stories provided valuable perspectives that helped to challenge misconceptions and foster understanding. Explore their stories here.
Our First Neurodiversity Webinar
Led by our Head of Connect, Louise Storie, the session highlighted how embracing neurodiversity benefits organisations by unlocking a wealth of talent, creativity, and innovation. It was inspiring to see so many participants come together to champion neurodiversity.

A Celebration of Talent
We were thrilled to host our very own Neurodiversity Celebration Week Showcase at our Linlithgow Campus!
Led by the people we support and our dedicated service teams, the event brought our work to life through art, baking, poetry, and more.
We welcomed families, external organisations, Trustees, Advisory Board members, health and social care professionals, policymakers, and more.
Sharing her thoughts on the event, our Trustee, Lorraine Gilles, said:
“It was a brilliant event marking Neurodiversity Celebration Week. Fantastic creativity and a celebration of different minds. I’m a proud Trustee of a brilliant organisation.”
Shining the Spotlight
Across our social media channels, we highlighted each of our services to showcase their activities throughout the week. From a day in the life at Treehouse to Vibe’s colourful canvas painting, these moments captured how we foster an environment where individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered.

As we bid farewell to Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we want to emphasise that celebrating neurodiversity and promoting neuro-inclusion isn’t a week-long consideration – it’s a permanent commitment.
We will continue our work to affect societal change to value neurodiversity by encouraging understanding, driving excellent practice related to neurodiversity, and giving neurodivergent people a voice.
See you again next year!
