Secondary Teacher: Maths 

 

Location: Linlithgow, West Lothian 

Hours: Part time, 7-14 hours per week (0.2-0.4FTE) 

Salary: £6,718.80 – £20,235 per annum (SNCT pay scale) 

 

Are you an experienced and dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher, who has a deep understanding of inclusive education and passionate about meeting individual needs? Are you, creative in your approach to helping young people thrive and learn?  

 

If yes, then we have the perfect role for you! 

 

We are looking to appoint a part time Secondary level Teacher to join our team at Donaldson’s, on a part time permanent basis (1 or 2 days per week) to support Maths. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our supportive and dynamic school community, with a focus on high-quality teaching and learning. The role is based within the Sensational Learning Centre, a grant aided special school for children with complex additional support needs.  

 

You will have a full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland in Secondary Maths and will be experienced in working with children and young people with additional support needs. 

 

You will deliver quality education, planning and assessment to pupils with additional support needs and contribute to the professional, collegiate life of the school and Donaldson Trust. You will create a motivating learning environment and programmes of learning which take account of individual pupil needs. 

 

A strong understanding of safeguarding, and demonstrable interest in working with neurodivergent children and young people are essential. 

 

You will align with our purpose, values and attributes of being professional, dependable, collaborative, curious and adaptable and if you are able use and/or understand BSL, that is a bonus!
